[Look At Me]

Wow, what a voice your wife has. Her vocal performance was insanely good.
The composition of this song as well was spot on, kinda like Avril Lavigne meets Evanescence - definitely had that early 2000s feel. I especially enjoyed the bridge of the song.

I feel as though the mix of the chorus could be a bit clearer. I enjoy how it all meshes together, but some elements get just a little lost in my opinion! That being said, I've never myself tried to mix an orchestral metal piece so this is simply from the perspective of myself as a listener.

Really solid track, I enjoyed it a lot and the after-chorus 'oh-oh' is gonna be stuck in my head for the next week! :)

and this, this is amazing. you are honestly such a beautiful poet. I love the dynamics in your voice on the woosh verse. the verse afterwards is a really love surprise and the GUITAR after that. damn. your voice break in 'nocturnalized' before the last verse is heaven. this is honestly perfect. the way you sing 'zen' and 'on'. beautiful.

so glad this tune didn't get scrapped. it really is a masterpiece.

[The Monolith]

I love your use of reverb in this track. So satisfying on the ears. Everything comes through so nicely in the mix - all the little details in the track and the percussion especially. When it comes to sound design, you're pretty thoughtful.

[Rewind Once Forward]

I love the sound of that music box, which one are you using? I've never heard your work before but the first thing I noticed is how great a melody writer you are. The woodwind during the midsection could afford to have a bit more reverb on it! The part starting at 2:40 reminds me very much of Pirates of the Caribbean. In terms of the woodwind on that part, is it the oboe? - watch your timing. Especially on 3:25 and onwards. It sounds like you were writing in free-time because some of the notes come in a little early/late. The melodies at the end were gorgeous. At 4:10 there's two tiny little clicks in the left ear of my headphones.

Really happy to stumble across this though. Will be listening to some of your other tracks :)

I've always loved your use of FX in your tracks. This is super interesting, well composed, well mixed. That piano is bliss. That restaurant ambience was really nice too. Nothing bad to say about this!
